Join Our Team as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – General Surgery

Are you an experienced advanced practice provider passionate about general surgery? We are seeking dedicated Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to support our General Surgery team, providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This vital role ensures seamless coverage across multiple locations, contributing directly to positive patient outcomes and the efficiency of our surgical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical support for general surgery patients in outpatient clinics.
  • Manage small procedures such as lump and bump removals.
  • Conduct clinic visits and patient assessments.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver comprehensive care.

Required Skills:
  • Significant experience in general surgery settings.
  • Proficiency in performing small surgical procedures.
  • Excellent clinical assessment and patient management skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience working in outpatient or clinic-based environments.
  • Ability to float between different clinic locations seamlessly.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Valid state licensure and certification in respective roles.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related clinical experience in general surgery.

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, approximately 8 am to 5 pm.
  • Ability to support locations at Glenlake and Southwood, with flexibility to float.
  • No surgical procedures involved; focus on outpatient clinic duties.
  • Coverage begins on January 5, 2026.
  • Hourly pay rate of $1.00.
