Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Wound Care

Job Responsibilities:

• Treat various skin reactions and prevent skin breakdown
• Manage and treat vascular ulcers, pressure ulcers, and diabetic ulcers
• Initiate preventative measures and provide comprehensive wound management
• Apply topical therapies and educate patients and their support systems on care techniques
• Assess and treat draining wounds and fistulae
• Implement actions to reduce incidences of pressure and vascular ulcers
• Provide instruction on proper wound dressing and prevention
• Supervise hyperbaric oxygen treatment

Qualifications:

• Experience in wound care
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted Ohio Nurse Practitioner license - [REQUIRED]
• BLS certification - [REQUIRED]
• ACLS certification preferred for Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy
