Position Overview
A high-volume outpatient surgical oncology program in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a 4-month locum tenens assignment. This role offers a Monday–Friday, flexible daytime schedule with no call, working alongside a strong team of surgeons and APPs.
This coverage supports the program during a staffing transition period, following the resignation of two APPs. Clinicians will enjoy a structured, team-based outpatient setting with full support.

Skills & Experience

Previous outpatient surgical oncology or surgical specialty experience preferred

Comfort managing post-operative follow-up, clinic visits, and patient education

Strong teamwork and communication skills in a multi-provider environment

Job Responsibilities

Conduct surgical oncology clinic visits, follow-ups, and pre-/post-operative care

Collaborate closely with surgical attending physicians and other APPs
