Job description We are seeking a Pediatric Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a 96-day locum tenens assignment in Georgia. This opportunity starts on Oct 20, 2025, offering 3-4 shifts per month with options for day or night shifts, primarily focusing on night shifts due to higher patient needs. The role involves managing approximately 20 to 50 patients per shift, leveraging the Epic EMR system to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage patient admissions, discharges, and consultations in pediatric surgery.
  • Provide first assist in surgeries, although not mandatory.
  • Handle a patient load of 20 during day shifts and 40-50 during preferred night shifts.
  • Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and patient management.

Additional Information
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC).
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Georgia.
