Job Summary:
Medical City Denton is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to care for pre and post-operative cardiac surgery patients.Qualified Candidates:
- Have experience in CVICU and knowledge of a variety of mechanical circulatory support devices (intraortic balloon pump, Impella, VV/VA ECMO
- Can work a flexible full time schedule
- Manage patients in the CVICU recovering from CABG, valve replacement including TAVRs, complex aortic reconstruction, LVAD placement and heart transplantation in addition to our mechanical circulator support patients.
- Will cover patient consults and discharges from after surgery
