Location: Multiple U.S. States โ Local Travel Only (Within 50 miles)
Schedule: PRN | Flexible ยฝ Day (4 hours) or Full Day (8 hours) Shifts
Travel, Lodging & Malpractice would be covered by us.

Job Responsibilities
Conduct one-time assessments for Veterans applying for disability benefits
Perform focused physical exams, including musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and respiratory assessments
Record findings using VES's standardized DBQ platform
Submit completed documentation within 48 hours
Review diagnostic records and provide medical opinions as needed
Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner with active, unrestricted license (Board Certification required)
DMA Certification (or willingness to complete VA training โ 10+ hours, not reimbursed)
Proficient in METs testing, and evaluation of respiratory, cardiovascular, and neuro conditions
Familiar with Goniometer usage
Must own a personal laptop
Able to complete electronic documentation via provider portal
Comfortable with follow-up tasks (addendums, reading diagnostics, etc.)
Willing to work PRN basis; minimum availability of 1 day/week
Must live within 50 miles of assignment location
Must have own office if choosing to see Veterans at private practice

Non-Treatment Role:
Interview-based evaluations + basic physical exams (e.g., range of motion, strength testing)
No prescribing or ongoing care โ strictly evaluations
Standardized Process:
Complete VA-standard Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)
Training provided โ no narrative reports required
Flexible Work Locations:
Evaluate Veterans at a VES leased facility OR from your own private practice
Administrative Support:
VES handles scheduling and logistics
