Job Description
A healthcare organization in Baltimore, Maryland is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient pulmonary care across two clinic locations. This is a part-time locum opportunity ideal for an experienced provider looking to supplement their schedule while working alongside a collaborative specialty team.
The provider will support pulmonary clinic operations by assisting with urgent clinic visits, post-hospital follow-ups, and chronic pulmonary disease management in an outpatient setting.
This position offers a supportive environment with physician collaboration and experienced clinical staff.
Compensation is competitive and based on background, experience, and overall qualifications.

• Outpatient pulmonary clinic setting
• Two clinic locations in the Baltimore area
• 8 hours per week total
• Schedule:
• Tuesdays: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Fridays: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• No call responsibilities
• No inpatient coverage
• Collaborative physician support onsite
• EPIC electronic medical record
• Ideal opportunity for supplemental income or part-time clinical work
• Travel accommodations available if needed

Clinical Responsibilities
• Evaluate and manage pulmonary patients in an outpatient clinic setting
• Provide urgent pulmonary-related clinic visits and follow-up care
• Conduct post-hospital discharge visits and medication reviews
• Assess disease severity and determine outpatient treatment vs escalation of care
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and pulmonary diagnostics as appropriate
• Prescribe medications and adjust treatment plans when necessary
• Coordinate care with supervising physicians and clinical staff
• Work closely with ILD nursing team to monitor patient status and oxygen needs
• Maintain accurate documentation within EPIC EMR

Minimum Qualifications
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Active Maryland NP license
• Active and unrestricted DEA
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years NP experience in one or more of the following:
• Pulmonary medicine
• Inpatient hospitalist care
• ICU or critical care
• Pulmonary outpatient clinic
Providers with strong inpatient pulmonary experience may also be considered.

• Contract through early summer with potential extension
• Paper timesheets
