Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled NP or PA to join a dynamic Pulmonology team in Bronx, NY. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work collaboratively with pulmonary physicians in managing a wide range of respiratory conditions in outpatient and/or inpatient settings. Join a supportive, multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive history and physical exams for pulmonary patients
• Diagnose and manage conditions such as asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, and sleep apnea
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (chest imaging, PFTs, ABGs, sleep studies)
• Prescribe medications and respiratory therapies
• Assist with procedures such as thoracentesis and bronchoscopy (based on training)
• Provide inpatient consults, rounding, and discharge planning (if applicable)
• Educate patients on inhaler techniques and lifestyle modifications
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
Qualifications
• Master’s or Doctorate degree (NP or PA) from an accredited program
• Active New York NP or PA license
• National Certification (NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC)
• DEA license with prescriptive authority
• BLS & ACLS required
• 1–2 years of pulmonary, internal medicine, or critical care experience preferred
Working Hours
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Schedule (Inpatient/Outpatient mix)
