Overview
Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University is seeking experienced Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide medical management of adult pulmonary and sleep patients in an outpatient setting at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown.

The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields.
Job Description & Responsibilities
- Join an established group of 4 Pulmonologists, 3 Advanced Practice Clinicians, 3 Respiratory Therapist and 1 Nurse Clinician
- Progressive practice of both pulmonary and sleep medicine with a collegial approach to patient care
- Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM
- Some travel to outreach sites
- Opportunity for telemedicine consults
- No call
- EMR-EPIC
- Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine coverage
- Salary Range: $104,040 - $128,305. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
- Sign-on Bonus up to $50,000
- 5 years+ experience required
Job Qualifications
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- NYS Licensure
- BLS Certification Required
- DEA Required
