Midwest Wellness Institute seeking a compassionate, experienced, and collaborative Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our programs including residential, PHP, IOP, and virtual IOP. The population is primarily women, adolescent girls, and gender-nonconforming patients, with treatment focused on conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, bipolar disorder, eating concerns, self-harm, suicidality, and emotional dysregulation.

Job Responsibilities
• Provide medication management and monitor treatment response.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, nursing, and other clinical staff.
• Order and review appropriate labs and diagnostic studies.
• Participate in treatment-team meetings and case consultation.
• Support crisis assessment and clinical stabilization as needed.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Provide trauma-informed, patient-centered care.
Qualifications
• Appropriate national certification and prescribing authority.
• Psychiatric/behavioral health experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with medication management preferred.
• Comfortable treating complex mental-health presentations, including trauma, mood disorders, suicidality, and emotional dysregulation.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Collaborative approach to multidisciplinary care.
