As a PMHNP with Jaywalker Lodge, you’ll have the opportunity to do more than manage symptoms—you’ll help men build a foundation for lasting recovery. You’ll work alongside an experienced, multidisciplinary team to provide psychiatric care for clients navigating substance use, trauma, and co-occurring mental health conditions in a supportive, community-based setting. With the Rocky Mountains as your backdrop, you’ll be part of a unique treatment environment that combines evidence-based care, strong clinical relationships, outdoor adventure, and a commitment to helping clients discover a healthier, more fulfilling life.
Job Responsibilities
- Create, communicate, and carry out treatment plans with the patient and patient’s families
- Prescribe medications when necessary
- Communicate with patients regarding diagnosis and treatment plan
- Make referrals to specialists as appropriate
- Provide services at community partnership location
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must possess an unrestricted DEA license in the state of Colorado
- Must have a current board certification by a national certifying body as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse - Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Eligible for paneling on all major insurance plans and to participate in Medicare
- Excellent communication, patient relations, time management skills, and safety awareness are required
