Description of Work Assignment:
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide locum coverage in a residential treatment facility with an outpatient program. The provider will manage adult patients with psychiatric and primary care needs in an abstinence-based program. Responsibilities include initial psychiatric evaluations, medication management follow-ups, and collaboration with the Medical Director and psychiatric team.
Practice Setting:
- Residential treatment facility with outpatient program
- Adult patient population (18+)
- EMR: BestNotes
- Collaborative care environment including Medical Director, Psychiatrist, PMHNP, and full nursing staff
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations
- Provide medication management follow-ups
- Manage both new and existing patients
- Collaborate with psychiatric and medical team
- Responsible for mid-level supervision as needed
Schedule / Coverage:
- Up to 20 hours per week
- Flexible schedule
- No call required
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
- DEA required
- BLS required
- Psych + Primary Care preferred (Primary Care acceptable)
- Suboxone certification not required
