• We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join a dynamic behavioral health team in a hybrid outpatient setting.
• The provider will deliver comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing patient support.
• This role requires a Spanish-speaking provider who can conduct patient interactions and interviews in Spanish, ensuring high-quality care for a diverse patient population.

Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate with staff psychiatrists, nursing staff, counselors, and clinical team members
• Deliver psychiatric care including medication management, counseling, and emotional support
• Prescribe medications in accordance with treatment protocols and DEA regulations
• Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory test results to patients
• Educate patients on medications, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes
• Refer patients for inpatient care in coordination with supervising psychiatrists when necessary
• Conduct patient follow-ups and ongoing care management
• May provide primary care services as appropriate within scope of practice
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience required
• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license
• Fluent in Spanish (must be able to interview and provide care in Spanish)
• Active DEA certification required
• Must be actively enrolled in Medicare and Medicaid
• Ability to work a minimum of 25+ hours per week (Full-Time preferred)

Skills
• Expertise in medication management and mental health treatment
• Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities (bilingual preferred – Spanish)
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong documentation and EMR proficiency
