An established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Austin, TX, is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join a collaborative, fast-paced outpatient clinic serving an underserved community. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a supportive, team-based environment with both medical and behavioral health integration.


Position Highlights:

  • Monday – Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Outpatient setting with both in-person and virtual visit options
  • Patient population ages 5 and up, with a strong pediatric focus
  • Average daily volume of 14–16 patients (range 7–16 depending on preference and experience)
  • Support from an interdisciplinary on-site team including:
    • 1 Pediatrician
    • 1 Family Medicine Physician
    • 1 Family Nurse Practitioner
    • 1 Psychiatrist
    • 3 Therapists
    • 1 Community Health Worker
  • Convenient clinic access with good parking available


What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a PMHNP
  • Passion for working with underserved populations
  • Ability to provide care to patients with limited psychosocial resources
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Flexible, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $119k – $187k based on productivity
