Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Location: Highland Hills, OH 44128
Schedule: Day Shift
Hours: 16–20 hours per week (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of experience
Job Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Duties
• Develop and implement patient care plans while performing advanced nursing duties within the scope of licensure.
• Monitor patient progress and intervene in the course of chronic illness.
• Conduct routine physical examinations to evaluate chronic conditions and diagnose new medical issues.
• Evaluate and treat acute and chronic medical conditions, including prescribing medications when appropriate.
• Manage discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for patients with chronic or ongoing medical needs.
• Perform minor procedures as permitted by training and competency.
• Determine the need for specialist referrals or external consultations when required.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Administer immunizations and vaccinations to prevent communicable diseases.
Medical Documentation
• Maintain accurate and compliant medical records in accordance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
• Document patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Participate in regular medical quality review and oversight processes.
Clinical Support & Leadership
• Provide clinical guidance and direction to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Support interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure quality patient care.
Professional Participation
• Participate in professional meetings, committees, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to ongoing healthcare quality and patient safety programs.
• Provide patient education on health maintenance, prevention, and risk factors.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of advanced nursing practices and clinical procedures.
• Understanding of healthcare regulations, including patient privacy requirements.
• Ability to assess patient conditions and make informed clinical decisions.
• Skilled in using medical equipment such as:
o Stethoscope
o Blood pressure monitor
o EKG machine
o Otoscope
o Ophthalmoscope
o Other diagnostic tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and build positive relationships with patients and healthcare staff.

Minimum Qualifications
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Advanced Practice certification with authority to prescribe medications.
• Valid CPR certification (Healthcare Provider level).
