Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available
A well-established behavioral health organization in Fulton, NY is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join its integrated care team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment providing comprehensive mental health services to children, families, and adults, including individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders.
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will work closely with the Medical Director and multidisciplinary clinical team to provide evaluations, medication management, and ongoing behavioral health support.
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions
• Provide medication management, including prescribing psychotropic medications
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling when needed
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and medications
• Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and progress notes
Qualifications
• Active or eligible New York State NP license
• Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions preferred
• Experience in substance use treatment is a plus
• Willingness to prescribe Suboxone
• Ability to participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs
• Valid New York State driver's license and reliable transportation
