We have a locum opportunity in beautiful Tucson, Arizona for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (top preference) or Psychiatrist (MD/DO)**.
We are prioritizing local providers who can start as soon as credentialed.
📍 Practice Setting
Residential Level of Care (Adult 18+)
Collaborative medical department with onsite providers
Full support staff: nursing, therapists, techs.
Position Details

40 hours/week (4x10s or 5x8s)

28–30 patient caseload (70–75% productivity)

Patients seen once weekly (1 hour session: 50 mins + documentation)

Psychiatric evaluations & follow-ups

Medication management
-
Treatment team meetings
-
Therapy involvement

Weekly rounding on assigned caseload
75% of worked time is direct patient care
(Example: 40-hour week = ~30 patients seen weekly)
Job Responsibilities
Adults (18+)
Average age: 30s–40s
Mix of new and existing patients
📋 Requirements:
PMHNP preferred (MD/DO accepted)
Experience required (fellowship not required)
BC preferred, not required
BLS required
Suboxone certification preferred (not required)
🔎 Additional Information:
Mid-levels onsite (no supervision required)
