Novant Health Medical Group is seeking a Licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) to join the Women's Center for Excellence in SouthPark (Charlotte Region).This is an outpatient position embedded within a multidisciplinary medical office building. This is a hybrid outpatient role combining ongoing psychotherapy with comprehensive psychological assessment within a specialty behavioral health setting. This position is ideal for a psychologist who values diagnostic depth, longitudinal therapeutic work, and collaboration within a psychiatry-led outpatient model.
Position Overview
This role will provide:
Comprehensive Speicality Psychological Assessment, that may include (but not limited to):
• Mood and anxiety disorders
• Trauma and trauma-related presentations
• Personality assessment
• Perinatal and postpartum mental health concerns
• Neurodevelopmental concerns (including ADHD and autism spectrum presentations in adolescents and adults as appropriate to training and competence)
• Differential diagnostic clarification
• Health-related psychological factors impacting medical conditions
Therapeutic Services, including:
• Individual psychotherapy for adolescent and adult women
• Perinatal and reproductive mental health support
• Treatment of mood and anxiety related disorders
• Life transition stressors, identity development, and relational concerns
• Personality and complex presentations
• Trauma-informed care
• Trauma and trauma-related conditions
• Potential for collaboration with medical providers through care coordination and consultation
• Involvement in case consultation for both assessment and therapy cases amongst psychiatry institute therapists and psychologists
This position offers the opportunity to practice within a whole-person, trauma-informed model of care, closely collaborating with Psychiatry, OB/GYN, specialty providers, and other disciplines within the same healthcare setting.
