Job Title :- Psych Nurse Practitioner (Part time)
Location :- Youngstown, OH 44505
Contract :- 6+ Months with possible extension
Job Description :
• Provides direct psychiatric/mental health care (in person or via telehealth)
• Conducts assessments, formulates diagnoses, and manages psychotropic medications
• Prescribes medications and orders/interprets lab tests
• Performs mental health evaluations
• Collaborates with medical staff for integrated care
• Documents clinical encounters per policy
• Participates in treatment planning and team meetings
• Provides supervision/consultation to nursing and mental health staff
• Receives supervision from collaborating physician
• Participates in quality improvement activities
• Maintains clinical competency
• State of Ohio Medical License required
• Experience as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner required
Requirement
• ANCC Certificate.
• Active NP license
• BLS/CPR
• DEA Cert
