Adelphi is seeking qualified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) to provide on-call psychiatric services at an inpatient psychiatric facility located in Cherokee County, Iowa. The ideal candidate will have inpatient psychiatric experience, strong clinical judgment in acute situations, and the ability to respond promptly while working independently and collaboratively with clinical staff.

Minimum Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current, unrestricted Iowa Physician Assistant license
• Minimum one (1) year of psychiatric training and/or experience
• Ability to maintain Iowa licensure for the duration of the contract
• Ability to practice in collaboration with supervising medical staff
• Ability to obtain and maintain facility privileges
• Compliance with applicable health, safety, and infection control policies
• Successful completion of required background screening
Responsibilities
• Provide scheduled on-call psychiatric coverage.
• Provide scheduled on-call psychiatric coverage.
• Maintain telephone availability and respond within required timeframes.
• Report on-site within required response time when urgent care is needed.
• Assist with psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management.
• Participate in patient rounds when required.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, and interdisciplinary staff
• Adhere to facility policies, confidentiality standards, and regulatory requirements.
