Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Locums Job | Crisis Center Nights in Georgia

A regional crisis center in Georgia is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for night coverage. This role focuses exclusively on intake assessments and triage — allowing you to practice at the top of your license without ongoing inpatient rounding responsibilities.

Position Highlights:
--7PM – 7AM night shifts
--Current need: Thursdays and Fridays
--Ongoing coverage expected
--2–7 patient evaluations per shift (lower current volume)
--Approximately 1 hour per intake
--Front-end crisis assessments only

Practice Environment:
--Dedicated triage nurse onsite
--1–2 case managers per shift
--Crisis stabilization unit staffed separately
--No private insurance billing
--Medicare/Medicaid credentialing not required to begin
--Quick start available

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Psychiatric NP who is comfortable making clinical disposition decisions in a crisis setting and values autonomy, structured support, and meaningful patient impact.
