Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Part-Time | Post-Acute Care | Jacksonville, Florida

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to support our growing group practice in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a part-time opportunity ideal for a clinician seeking flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful impact in post-acute care.

Role Overview

• Schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week (Monday–Friday; no weekends required)

• Setting: Skilled nursing facilities – rounding primarily in short-term units

• Documentation: Completed remotely within 48 hours of patient visits using a provided iPad or laptop

This hybrid structure allows you to provide in-person care while enjoying the flexibility of remote documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders

• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in compliance with state and federal regulations

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary facility teams to enhance patient outcomes

• Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification

• Active Florida APRN license

• Active DEA registration

• Minimum 2+ years of PMHNP experience

• Local candidates preferred

• Experience in healthcare, post-acute, or long-term care settings preferred (not required)

Compensation

• Fee-for-service (FFS) compensation model

• Estimated annual income range: $82,597 – $99,116

• No cap on productivity income potential
