We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to support our growing group practice in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a part-time opportunity ideal for a clinician seeking flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful impact in post-acute care.
Role Overview

Schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week (Monday–Friday; no weekends required)

Setting: Skilled nursing facilities – rounding primarily in short-term units

Documentation: Completed remotely within 48 hours of patient visits using a provided iPad or laptop
This hybrid structure allows you to provide in-person care while enjoying the flexibility of remote documentation.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders

Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in compliance with state and federal regulations

Collaborate with interdisciplinary facility teams to enhance patient outcomes

Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
Qualifications

Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification

Active Florida APRN license
-
Active DEA registration
-
Minimum 2+ years of PMHNP experience

Local candidates preferred

Experience in healthcare, post-acute, or long-term care settings preferred (not required)
Compensation

Fee-for-service (FFS) compensation model

Estimated annual income range: $82,597 – $99,116

No cap on productivity income potential
