Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Float

Our client is a growing, non-profit healthcare organization focused on providing inclusive, high-quality care to underserved communities, with a strong emphasis on Behavioral Health, Primary Care, HIV care, and LGBTQ+ health. Services are delivered across multiple outpatient clinics in Kissimmee, Orlando, and Lakeland.

Our client offers the following:

  • $120,000-$135,000+ depending on experience

Requirements:

  • Current, active, and unencumbered Florida PMHNP license
  • Experience providing outpatient psychiatric care
  • Comfortable working as a float provider across multiple clinic locations
  • Experience working with HIV and LGBTQ+ populations preferred
  • New graduates considered
  • Ability to work onsite in an outpatient clinic setting
  • Simple EMR: Tebra (CareCloud)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality outpatient psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care.
  • Float between Kissimmee, Orlando, and Lakeland clinics based on organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with primary care and behavioral health teams to deliver integrated care.
  • Conduct patient assessments, diagnose psychiatric conditions, and develop treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with best practices.
  • Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options.
  • Coordinate referrals and continuity of care as needed.
  • Document all patient care accurately and timely within the EMR.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and organizational programs.
  • Maintain compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Promote and uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
