- Treatment Focus: Psychiatric care and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
- Full-time position
- On-call coverage required
- Participation in required meetings, trainings, and safety drills
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and re-evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide psychiatric medication evaluation and management
- Prescribe and manage MAT medications with ongoing monitoring
- Coordinate care with primary care providers and interdisciplinary teams
- Serve in a leadership role on the treatment team
- Communicate treatment plan updates and service needs to staff
- Maintain timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record
- Ensure compliance with agency policies and clinical protocols
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Nurse Practitioner certification
- Psychiatric certification or actively working toward certification
- Unrestricted Vermont APRN license (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Experience providing psychiatric care and MAT
- Experience treating adults with:
- Severe and persistent mental illness
- Substance use disorders
- Developmental disabilities and/or complex medical conditions
- Current knowledge of psychiatric medications
- EMR proficiency
- Strong clinical judgment, compassion, and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation with Vermont-required insurance coverage
- Successful criminal background check upon hire
- Compliance with agency policies, code of conduct, and ethics standards
- Salary: $160,000–$165,000 (based on experience)
