Required Skills:
  • Active state licensure and PMHNP certification
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in psychiatric practice
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnosis skills
  • Ability to carry a caseload of up to 16 patients
  • Proficiency in completing admissions, discharges, and daily notes
  • Excellent communication skills for participating in family and agency meetings
  • Experience with geriatric and adult psychiatric populations

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in a hospital or inpatient psychiatric setting
  • Bilingual abilities to serve diverse populations
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Ability to handle complex cases with empathy and professionalism

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing
  • Over 2 years of relevant psychiatric practice experience
  • Certified in PMHNP with active state licensure

Other Requirements:
  • Experience with pediatric inpatient units is advantageous
  • Overtime and callback notes must be recorded accurately on timesheets
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm
  • Willingness to work in a locked hospital environment
  • Providing both geriatric and adult patient care as per preference
