Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)


SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- 4-Day or 5-Day Schedule
- No Evenings
- No Weekends
- No Holidays


COMPENSATION:
- $125,000 to $170,000 Total Annual Income
- $105,000 to $125,000 Base Salary, dependent upon experience
- $20,000 to $45,000 Productivity Bonus Income (paid quarterly)

They currently boast a team of more than 25 physicians and nurse practitioners who ensure that patients receive the best medical care possible without the challenges of traveling to a provider’s office.


POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) will work with a dedicated panel of geriatric patients. All patients are located in facilities or private homes.

Daily volume varies based upon types of appointments scheduled, patient needs, and number of locations being visited.

The PMHNP will have a dedicated scheduler who creates an efficient schedule for each work day, ensuring logical travel routes and ample time with every patient.

Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

- psychiatric wellness assessments and care
- prescribing pharmacologic treatments
- diagnosing, treating, and helping patients manage acute and chronic mental illnesses
- conducting examinations and interpreting histories
- ordering and performing diagnostic tests and/or procedures, if appropriate
- working with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to coordinate care
- ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards

The practice uses a mobile-based EHR with AI functionality to reduce administrative time.



REQUIREMENTS:
- Ohio NP license
- DEA
- PMHNP certification
- 6+ months advanced practice experience strongly preferred
- high comfort level with autonomous work settings
- new graduates considered on an individual basis
