Job description We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a 20-day locum tenens assignment in Connecticut, starting May 4, 2026. This role offers weekday, 8-hour day shifts and involves working across child, adolescent, and adult outpatient and inpatient settings. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing care in a variety of environments and patient age groups.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide psychiatric care to child, adolescent, and adult patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Adapt to the needs of various clinical environments, including outpatient clinics and inpatient units
  • Conduct psychiatric assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medication as appropriate
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive mental health care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic policies

Additional Information
  • Active Connecticut nurse practitioner license required
  • Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Across the Lifespan) Certification (PMHNP-BC) required
  • Experience working with child/adolescent outpatient populations preferred
