Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide psychiatric care to child, adolescent, and adult patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Adapt to the needs of various clinical environments, including outpatient clinics and inpatient units
- Conduct psychiatric assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medication as appropriate
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive mental health care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic policies
Additional Information
- Active Connecticut nurse practitioner license required
- Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Across the Lifespan) Certification (PMHNP-BC) required
- Experience working with child/adolescent outpatient populations preferred
