Job description We are seeking a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist for a 20-day locum tenens assignment in Connecticut, starting May 4, 2026. This role features 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, and involves coverage in child and adolescent outpatient settings, with potential to support adult and inpatient care as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide psychiatric care in child and adolescent outpatient clinics
  • Offer flexibility to cover adult inpatient and outpatient services as required
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and best practices

Additional Information
  • Must hold an active Connecticut license
  • Requires Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Across the Lifespan) Certification (PMHNP-BC)
  • Prior experience in child and adolescent outpatient psychiatry is essential
