Responsibilities and Duties
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental health disorders, including substance use disorders, across the lifespan
- Deliver comprehensive psychiatric care to patients in a community health center outpatient setting
- Initiate patient care independently following a brief onsite orientation period
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams as needed
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Psychiatry required
- Active Washington state license and DEA required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Must have recent face-to-face patient care experience as a Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner within the past year
- Clean background with no malpractice history required
