Job Description:

This role involves serving as a key member of the behavioral health treatment team, providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing care for individuals in crisis. The Nurse Practitioner will oversee clinical practices, guide staff, and ensure adherence to medical protocols while working closely with a multidisciplinary team. You’ll play a vital role in shaping treatment plans, educating staff, and supporting vulnerable populations with compassion and expertise. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic environment focused on stabilization and recovery.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric and medical assessments for clients in crisis or stabilization programs.
• Manage and prescribe medications in accordance with treatment plans.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment as needed.
• Provide clinical supervision and guidance to the behavioral health team.
• Develop and maintain medical and medication treatment policies and procedures.
• Educate and train staff on best practices for psychiatric and medical care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care.
• Document all services accurately in the Credible EMR system.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in good standing.
• Active DEA registration.
• Current Washington State license (must be fully licensed).
• CPR certification.
• Previous experience providing medical services.
• Minimum 2 years working with persons of color, sexual minorities, and vulnerable populations.
• Preferred: Experience treating adult and older adult populations.
• Preferred: 3 years as a psychiatric or medical provider in crisis or detox programs.
