Annual Salary: $125k – $155k (varies depending on years of experience)

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner who holds dual licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family/Adult/Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (FNP/ANP/AGNP) to join our client’s interdisciplinary outpatient team in Essex County, NJ. This role involves providing medication management, psychotherapy, and primary care services to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
  • Provide medication management and psychotherapy services in accordance with best practice guidelines.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on symptoms, medication adherence, and when to report concerns to clinical staff.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence in care delivery.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program with specialization as both a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family/Adult/Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (FNP/ANP/AGNP).
  • Active and unrestricted NP licenses in the state of New Jersey for both PMHNP and FNP/ANP/AGNP roles.
  • Minimum of one year practicing as a PMHNP is preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish is required
  • Additional experience in psychiatric care or primary care settings is highly valued.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
