About the Role:
Seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Division of Behavioral Health. This is a hybrid position offering flexibility with both remote and on-site work in the Bronx, NY.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans

Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, counselors, and other team members

Prescribe medications and educate patients on usage, risks, and outcomes

Order and interpret lab tests

Refer patients for inpatient care when necessary

Provide emotional support, counseling, and patient education

Maintain follow-up communication and documentation
-
May provide primary care services if within scope of practice
Qualifications:

Master of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health focus

Licensed PMHNP in the state of New York

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Availability to work 25+ hours per week
