Job Responsibilities
Provide high quality medication management to program patients using appropriate evidence-based interventions, monitor treatment progress, change or discontinue ineffective treatment.
Collaborate with Medical Director and other members of the interdisciplinary team, seeks consultation and supervision as necessary.
Contribute to an environment where staff want to work and clients want to receive treatment.
Contribute to program development (i.e., implementing new procedures or systems) to improve patient care or team functioning.
Work collaboratively with the Medical Director to provide patient assessment, formulate treatment plans, prescribe medications, order laboratory tests, interpret test results, provide patient education, and complete required documentation.
Provide primary medical care services and referrals as indicated.
Participate in the on-call rotation.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited educational institution
Massachusetts licensure as Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurse
ANCC certification as a Psych NP
1-2 Years of experience preferred
Comfortable working with ages of 14-25 years old
