Health System is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join its team in Grand Forks, ND.

  • 40hrs/wk. Day Shift. Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00 pm.
  • ***No weekends, holidays, or “on-call” required.***
  • Outpatient

The PMHNP collaborates with physicians, verifies diagnoses, and administers medication within their scope of practice. They provide patient education, obtain medical histories, and manage acute/chronic health problems. The role involves implementing care plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and serving as a liaison for the healthcare team. Additionally, the PMHNP participates in health promotion and preventive initiatives for the group and the community.

  • Health Clinic offers comprehensive outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient program and inpatient treatment
  • Our multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, social workers, case workers and other specialists can provide stabilization, evaluation and treatment for mental health crises and situations requiring intensive care.
  • Our behavioral health unit offers medical care, individual and group therapy, occupational therapy and social work assessment and discharge planning.

Certification:

  • Nurse Practitioner | North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or Compact State Agreement | Prior to Start Date | HR Primary Sources
