Exceptional psychiatry and mental health team in the Delray Beach, Florida area is looking to add a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to their growing practice!

Ideal candidates may either be a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or a Physician Assistant with experience in psychiatry and mental health. The practice is also very willing to train a local candidate who wants to specialize in this field and who has exceptional interpersonal skills and is eager to learn and grow as a provider.

Enjoy a stable Monday-Friday schedule with no after hours call or weekends, and also feel support from clinical staff and supervising physicians.

Responsibilities:

• Full-time permanent position - Psychiatry, Mental Health
• Monday-Friday schedule, 8 AM to 5 PM
• 100% outpatient clinic setting
• No after hours call, no weekends, no nights
• New patient consultations and existing patients, work one-on-one with patients
• Mental health services including addiction, depression, anxiety, ADHD, performance enhancement, sleep problems, concussion and head injuries, PTSD, autism
• Outpatient medication management services
• Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) services
• Oversee physical and mental health of patients while receiving psychiatric care
  
• Perform regular follow-ups to see how patients are responding to counseling, medication and other therapies
• Orders labs and refers to other medical providers as needed
• Documents patient care via EMR
• Demonstrate a professional attitude and approach with patients while ensuring confidentiality of patient and practice information
• Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in psychiatry and mental health as a Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant
• Experience in other relevant fields and specific interest in psychiatry and mental health
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with patients and families
• Florida Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License
• Florida DEA License
