We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Texas licensed Nurse Practitioner, specializing in adolescent/adult psychiatry, to join our growing practice. Our established practice offers a full range of psychiatric services. This position will have an instrumental role in the treatment, support and education of mental health patients, families and communities in the Frisco, Texas area. This position will have the opportunity to utilize their expertise of psychotherapy modalities and psychopharmacology and support patients through a unique, hybrid blend of onsite and telehealth services. In collaboration with our supervising physician, this position will help assess, diagnose, and/or develop and implement individualized care plans and regimen. be instrumental in policy development and health care reform as it relates to mental health issues and the treatment of mental health patients.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • An active, unrestricted Texas Nurse Practitioner license and at least 2 years of experience as a PMHNP in a private practice setting, seeing and treating adolescent and adult patients      
  • Has extensive knowledge of nursing, mental health assessments, diagnosis, psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology.     
  • Interacts compassionately and effectively with a diverse population, both in person and via teleconferences.    
  • Accredited certifications, such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (PMHNP-BC)     
  • Tech savvy with the ability to adapt to new programs, systems and/or technology. Prior use of EHRs and/or video-conferencing platforms preferred.    
  • Multilingual and multi-state licensing is a plus.
