Position Overview: As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating the mental health needs of our geriatric patients. Your responsibilities will include conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing comprehensive treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychiatric assessments and formulate diagnoses
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans

  • Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license
  • Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in psychiatric or geriatric care as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and patient-centered care environment
