An inpatient behavioral health facility in Davenport, Iowa (near the Iowa/Illinois state line) is looking for full time locum to perm coverage starting late January 2024. The start date can be slightly flexible if needed.
  • Schedule: Full time, Monday-Friday; 8a-5p clinic and/or day call
  • Call rotation: 1:4
  • Reason for coverage: to help fill in for a Provider that is leaving the unit.
  • Practice Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health, hospital consults
  • Average number of patients per day: 8-11
  • Total number of beds: 28 adult, 8 adolescent
  • Child/adolescent ages to be seen: 8-17
  • Ages 8+
  • 2 APPs in practice and 1 in the ER
  • PA will be working autonomously
  • In some instances the Psychiatrist is available remotely via telehealth
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Level III Trauma
  • Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 30-60 days. 90 days at most.

  • Medical Malpractice Insurance w/ tail coverage.
Requirements:
  • Board Certified
  • IA license or Compact license
  • Site prefers experienced providers
  • Clean malpractice/background highly preferred
