We work with physicians, nurse practitioners, and mental health professionals openings at hospitals, clinics, and various other facilities for both short and long term contracts. We’ve partnered with new clients, and we are currently seeking a PMHNP for an opening in Rockville, MD.

Details:

  • $83/hr - $89.75/hr (Depending on experience)
  • Monday – Friday (NO WEEKENDS – NO ON CALL)
  • 3 month Contract – with option to extend
  • Full-Time or Part-Time
  • Start Date – ASAP – Upon Credentialing
  • Credentialing estimate – 2 Weeks or less
  • Malpractice insurance provided

Job Responsibilities

• Provides psychiatric consultation, evaluation, and treatment on an as needed basis.

• Assists in the development and implementation of follow up care plans for participants as needed.

• Directs, supervises, and consult with professional staff in the implementation of care plans of clients under his/her care as needed.

• Review all participant medication and if indicated, order, adjust, or terminate medication dosages using sound medical, ethical and responsible discretion and meets with the patient to discuss any adjustments in medication dosage.

• If required, assess participant’s need for hospitalization and consultation with other care providers the participant is linked with and/or referred to.

• Assures medical staff compliance with all regulatory and licensure guidelines.

• Maintains documentation as required and completed in a timely manner.

• Provides culturally, linguistically, and age-appropriate guidance, teaching, and counseling to patients regarding management of acute and chronic health/illnesses and conditions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
• Three years of full-time equivalent post-licensure experience as a Registered Nurse; two years of these 3 years must have been in-patient evaluation, diagnosis and treatment and one year of these 2 years must have been in community health nursing.
• Master's degree in Nursing, with Nurse Practitioner preparation; certification as Nurse Practitioner by professional organization, and additional training and certification to provide psychiatric APNP services.
• Licensed with Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
• Provider must be fluent in Spanish
