TMCOne, in partnership with Arizona Pediatric Surgery & Urology, is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our pediatric surgical team serving Tucson and Southern Arizona. This role supports the surgical side of the practice (not urology) and includes both hospital-based and clinic responsibilities. Hours will vary based on patient and service needs.

Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate new patients with operative and non‑operative pediatric surgery needs
○ Examples: draining abscesses, removing stitches/drains, gastrostomy tube care, stoma care
• Manage follow‑up patients with non‑operative conditions (e.g., pectus carinatum)
• Train in neonatal circumcision and manage related patient care
• Assist with pre‑ and post‑operative care for pediatric surgery patients
Qualifications
Arizona PA license (or ability to obtain)
Education:
• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
• Two years of related experience preferred
• Experience in this specialty as an RN is a plus
Licensure / Certification:
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner, or NP‑eligible with ability to obtain certification
• Must be credentialed at TMC through the Professional Staffing Office prior to appointment
• Current Arizona RN and NP licenses with prescriptive authority
• Current DEA license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Working Hours
• 4 days in the hospital, 1 clinic day
• 6 days of call per month, taken from home
