Millennium Medical Group is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our growing practice at Odessa Regional Medical Center in Odessa, Texas. Opportunity Highlights
As a Family Nurse Practitioner in the newborn nursery, you will play an essential role in supporting the care and well-being of newborn patients. Responsibilities include conducting routine newborn examinations and well-baby assessments, performing developmental screenings and growth evaluations, and administering immunizations while providing preventive care guidance to families. The provider will also educate parents on newborn care, nutrition, and safety, coordinate follow-up care with pediatricians or specialists when appropriate, and maintain accurate documentation while supporting hospital quality and patient care initiatives.
Schedule & Compensation
This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing an excellent opportunity for work-life balance. Millennium Medical Group offers a competitive compensation package designed to support both professional and personal well-being.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration and maintain current FNP certification through AANP or ANCC. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, value family-centered care, and be committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to newborn patients.
