Position Overview
A reputable health system is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide inpatient pediatric coverage on a locum basis. This role involves managing a small inpatient census during night shifts in a collaborative hospital environment.
Schedule

Nights only
-
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Options for 3×12-hour shifts or 4×10-hour shifts
-
30-minute meal break deduction per shift
-
Coverage needed 7 nights per week
Job Responsibilities
Setting: Inpatient Pediatrics
Patient Volume: Approximately 2–6 patients per shift
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and manage pediatric inpatients
Perform and manage Nasogastric Tube (NGT) placement and care
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital teams
Provide overnight clinical coverage and patient management
Qualifications
Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Active New York NP license
Experience in inpatient pediatric care
Current COVID-19 and Flu vaccination
