Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary pediatric care to patients ranging from birth to age 21.
- Educate new parents on essential standards of care for newborns and infants to support a healthy start.
- Perform clinical procedures, including cryotherapy for warts and minor I&D of abscesses; a willingness to learn these procedures is required if not already proficient.
- Manage behavioral health needs, including ADHD management and general mental health treatment and care.
- Participate in a rotation of newborn and new parent education classes when required.
- Maintain a 4-day work week schedule, ensuring a healthy work-life balance while delivering high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) with national certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of post-graduate experience in an outpatient pediatric setting.
- Active Florida license (APRN) or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong clinical skills paired with a genuine passion for pediatric medicine.
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, as this is a highly integrated and cooperative practice environment.
