Location: Fleming Island, FL Schedule: Full-Time | Monday Friday (No Weekends) Hours: 9:30 AM 6:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (or Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive pediatric expertise) to join our thriving practice in Fleming Island. This is a high-volume, fast-paced primary care environment where you will provide comprehensive medical care to children from birth through age 18.

The ideal candidate is a clinical expert who enjoys building lasting relationships with families and is comfortable managing a robust daily schedule while maintaining a high standard of care.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of post-graduate experience specifically in a Pediatric primary care or urgent care setting.
    • Note: Due to the volume of this role, we are not considering new graduates at this time.
  • Licensure: Active Florida license (or willingness/eligibility to obtain one prior to start).
  • Clinical Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication with parents/guardians, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primary Care Delivery: Conduct well-child visits, sports physicals, and acute/sick visits for patients aged 018.
  • Clinical Management: Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses, manage chronic conditions (such as asthma or ADHD), and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Preventative Health: Perform developmental screenings and offer nutritional, safety, and behavioral counseling to parents and patients.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely Electronic Health Records (EHR) to ensure seamless continuity of care.
  • Coordination of Care: Work closely with the clinical team and external specialists to coordinate comprehensive care plans for complex patients.

Compensation & Benefits

We value our providers and offer a comprehensive package designed to support your professional growth and personal well-being:

  • Financial: Competitive Salary & 401(k) with a dollar-for-dollar match up to 3%.
  • Time Off: Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
  • Health & Wellness: Health Insurance (with a percentage of the medical premium covered) and Employer-paid Life Insurance.
  • Professional Support: Malpractice coverage, License and DEA reimbursement, and access to UpToDate for CMEs.
