Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide advanced care to critically ill pediatric patients in a cardiac ICU
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a trauma environment
- Manage and monitor pediatric cardiac ICU cases, including assessment, diagnosis, and intervention
- Respond to emergencies and acute changes in patient status
- Document and update patient records in accordance with facility protocols
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and families regarding patient care plans
Additional Information
- Current nurse practitioner license required in New York
- Experience in pediatric cardiac ICU or similar critical care environment strongly preferred
