Position Summary

The facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join its team in Bronx, NY .

This full-time, permanent position offers a collegial work culture with strong clinical support, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for professional growth. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive pediatric care, manage acute and chronic conditions, and promote preventive health for children and adolescents in an outpatient setting.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough pediatric assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans for patients.

  • Manage both acute and chronic health conditions, ensuring appropriate follow-up and continuity of care.

  • Educate and counsel patients and families on growth, nutrition, immunizations, and preventive care.

  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support community health outreach efforts.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP).

  • Licensure & Certification: Active/Eliguble Nurse Practitioner license in New York; national certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner required.

  • Experience: Prior pediatric experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
