Critical Care - PICU NP
Rady Children's Health-Orange County is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our Critical Care Division to function within the Pediatric ICU (PICU). With demonstrated nursing expertise in pediatric intensive care, the Nurse Practitioner will function in an advanced practitioner role as a clinical expert in the management of pediatric intensive care patients within a family-centered care environment.
Under the direction of the PICU attending and practicing within developed standardized procedures and process protocols, the Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose and treat critically ill, med/surg pediatric patients. Central to the role, the Nurse Practitioner will assist in developing and implementing plans of care for all patients in the PICU. The Nurse Practitioner functions in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary ICU team, while also providing consultation and education to patients and their families.

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
