Tule River Indian Health Center, Inc. (TRIHCI) is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide compassionate, culturally competent care to infants, children, and adolescents in the Native American and underserved communities of Porterville, CA.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric assessments, exams, and screenings

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions

• Prescribe medications, immunizations, and treatments

• Educate families on health, development, and wellness

• Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health, and community staff

• Document care in EHR and ensure IHS compliance

• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

🎓 Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree from accredited PNP program

• Certified PNP (PNCB or ANCC)

• Active CA NP license with furnishing number

• DEA registration (Schedule II–V)

• BLS certification (PALS preferred)

• 5+ years pediatric experience preferred

• Experience with Native American or underserved populations a plus

📋 Additional Requirements

• Valid CA Driver’s License

• First Aid/CPR certification (or obtain within 3 months)

• Must pass background check, drug test, physical, and eligibility verification
