Palm Health Resources is hiring experienced Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in New Orleans, LA!
Palm Health Resources pays 100% of the Mal Practice Insurance, Flights, Lodging, Rental Car or Mileage Reimbursement and MUCH MORE! The initial contract is for 3-6 months with an option to extend!
We recently expanded to 8 APPs (4 ARNPs and 4 PAs). The schedule is to cover 18 shifts (including 3 nights) in a 6 week period.
We have a dedicated Pediatric Cardiac ICU with an active cardiac surgical program, including short term mechanical circulatory support (ie, ECMO), and the ability to care for complex medical patients across the age spectrum (premature neonates to adults with CHD). We are actively expanding our program to offer long term mechanical circulatory support (VADs) and heart transplantation.
We staff the unit during the daytime with 1 attending MD, 2 APPs, a clinical pharmacist, dedicated RTs, and a dedicated social worker and at night with 1 attending MD plus 1 APP. Thus, we cover with 3 APPs 24/7- APP shifts are 12 hrs.
