Position Overview:
UNC Pediatrics at North Hills is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join our team. The provider will play a crucial role in providing high-quality pediatric care, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to meet the needs of our young patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of children and families in our community.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program. Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of North Carolina, or the ability to obtain licensure. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in pediatric primary care or a related setting. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and families. Proficiency in using Epic electronic health record (EHR) systems and other clinical software. Commitment to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care in a collaborative team environment.
